Since Plato wrote about this submerged continent in 360 BC, many have tried to discover the location of Atlantis and it may be precisely from where we write these lines, here in the Canary Islands, where the legend was forged. One that tells how the Atlantean people were a rich, generous and fair people ruled by Poseidon. When they became greedy and selfish, Zeus decided to punish them by destroying and submerging Atlantis forever. However, different studies indicate that this mythological continent, which had large and impressive mountains, could have remained on the surface of the sea, forming what is today the archipelago of our islands.
